Gross output of TCM over 90b yuan

The State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine (SATCM)
disclosed recently that with the promulgation and execution of the
Regulation of China's TCM and the Development Outline of the
Modernization of TCM, the modernization of traditional Chinese medicine
has made a great deal of progress. The annual gross production of the TCM
industry last year exceeded 90 billion Yuan, an increase of more than 10
percent over the previous year. The net profit margin, the sales margin
and the cost profit ratio of the TCM industry all surged above 10
percent, higher than the average level of the pharmaceutical industry,
thereby manifesting its relatively strong potential for growth.
