Five-Star Red Flag rises over L.A.'s Chinatown

www.chinanews.cn 2005-03-07 14:23:25

(1:00PM, March 5, Los Angeles) The five-star, red Chinese national flag
was hoisted for the first time above Los Angeles' eighty-year-old
Chinatown. It stands as a symbol of the traditional Chinese belief in
"One China," and shows strong opposition to Taiwan's separation from the
mainland.
